Step 1
Front of the chimney: Cut FlexFlash™
1.5 inches longer than chimney width. Bend in half
vertically. Then firmly press to chimney wall. The
FlexFlash™
bending line should contact the point of the roof
on the folded side of the chimney. |

Step 2
Bend top half down from chimney. Remove protective
sheet from upper adhesive tape and press FlexFlash™
back horizontally and firmly to chimney wall. |

Step 3
Remove protective sheet from lower adhesive tape and
form it to tile. |

Step 4
Determine the length of the side strip by the length
of the sidewall plus the width of the FlexFlash™
on the tile surface. Bend in half. Remove protective
sheet and press FlexFlash™
to tile then bend it to form to wall or chimney. Start
at bottom and move upwards. |

Step 5
Cut product long enough to allow 1 inch to be folded
over front flashing. (See Picture) |

Step 6
Fold extension of the side-lap over front flap and
press standing seam against chimney wall. (See Picture)

|
Step 7
Install FlexFlash™
counter flashing over FlexFlash™
and secure to wall or chimney with screws. |

Step 8
Seal upper seam with sealing compound. |
